We will hold an election at our July 14th club meeting for the Board of
Directors. The nominations will open up at our June 9th club meeting.
Nominations for all positions will be open until just before the election
is conducted at the July club meeting. To be nominated, you must be a SVTC
member in good standing (paid dues). You may nominate yourself, or be
nominated by another SVTC member. An e-mail nomination may be submitted to
the Election Committee. When nominating another SVTC member, you must have
prior approval by the person that you wish to nominate. Each nominee may
give a one-minute speech on why they would like to serve on the Board of
Directors.
Only SVTC members may vote. One vote per open position. Any ballot with
more than one vote for a nominee will be discarded. Nominees will
immediately take office upon election to the Board of Directors.
Board members responsibilities include:
You must participate in Board of Directors meetings and monthly club meetings.
You must have e-mail to participate in Board discussions / decisions.
